Laura Jones, LPC, therapist

Laura Jones, LPC, is a trained eating disorder specialist.  I have worked at residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels of care. I see treatment of eating disorders as a two pronged approach.  I am simultaneously working to address the behaviors through skills and education as well as the etiology of the eating disorder understand the whole person. My therapeutic style is rooted in attachment and family work with CBT and DBT skills. I have become skilled at working with depression, anxiety, and trauma. While I am accepting clients who struggle with an eating disorder, I also welcome the opportunity to work with multicultural and LGBTQ clients. In the fall of 2018, I have experience in running both process and skill based groups, past groups have included: a focus on DBT skills, anxiety, the LGBTQ community and eating disorders.

Thank you for this opportunity to introduce myself and my practice to you. 

My name is Dr. Kristi G. Hall and I am a clinical psychologist, licensed in Maryland and in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Currently, I am affiliated with Integrated Psychology Associates of McLean, VA. As an independent practitioner, I will respond to you directly. 

My vast health psychological and neuropsychological expertise serves as a strong foundation to assist clients with their assessment and treatment needs. My training and experience cover the developmental lifespan from assessing and treating young children with behavioral and learning problems to geriatric clients and competency evaluations (forensics).

My expertise serves as a strong foundation to assist clients with their assessment and treatment needs. My ongoing approach to treatment is to work with individuals, groups, and teams (including coaches) to access level of functioning and develop and integrate treatment plans. I work with clients to bypass and/or recover from mental roadblocks, anxiety, frustration, and increase motivation, utilizing cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing, to name a few. I also assist (1) athletes who need assistance focusing on mental agility and preparedness and (2) individuals who want to focus on lifestyle changes including performance, weight loss, stress management, fitness, and body image issues. 

As an occasional adjunct professor and perpetual student of learning, I remain well-informed of the evidence-based practices in all my areas of interests. I look forward to hearing from you and establishing a collaborative partnership to meet your needs.
